Description: The Gem Sword Unlimited Edition is a collection of 2D role playing games developed by Storm Blade Games. This unique pack has 5 full length 2D RPG's with a combined total of over 100 hours of gameplay. -Gem Sword These games are available for FREE. Please note that these games are no longer supported or being actively developed. These games are being distributed as is. They were made a long time ago by inexperienced developers. Keep that in mind :). In regards to the retail cd box. The box comes with two discs. One is the original disc produced by Storm Blade Games. The label is in grayscale with a gold tinge to it. This disc contains 3/5 games in the GSUE pack. The cd contained an autoupdater that used "stormbladegames.com" to download the rest of the games. Due to SBG(.com) no longer being active, we (Norwind Interactive) have created a second disc. This disc is the same design as the original, but in full color - and containing the latest build of all the games. It will be the very same setup file as the one you can download on this site. You can request a free retail box if you are interested! No shipping charges or silly fees! |

Description: This is a multiplayer first person shooter developed on the XNA framework. I built this for my highschool final exam. It features fully functional 31 player first person shooter action either on a LAN or GFW/Xbox Live. The multiplayer was built solely using the XNA networking, which means the PC version's multiplayer will not work unless you have the XNA developer tools installed. If you want to use this as any sort of building block for a PC multiplayer game - I suggest switching the networking library over to Lidgren. You can also compile the game on the Xbox very easily. The source code includes both the Windows version and Xbox version. If I forgot to include the Xbox version - you can just right click the solution - and convert it. I mapped out the controls and settings properly so it will work on either system. One last thing - I have created two versions of the project. One being the 'original', which is the project as it were when I handed in the project. The 'new' version is the version I used after school. I worked on it for a bit, but not a whole lot. The 'new' version includes fully animated models that blend animations over the network aswell. I never could get the weapon to attach to the models hand though. Both projects have been converted to Visual Studio 2010 and XNA 4.0. I have tested both projects and they appear to work fine. The blood effect is a bit sketchy it seems. The transparency doesn't seem to work properly any more. If you have any suggestions, ideas, or whatever feel free to get ahold of me - brandyne@norwindinteractive.com You may use and modify all the source code freely. It would be kinda cool to give me a bit of credit if you do use it, but in the end I don't require it. If you find this helpful - AWESOME! If you don't - well thanks for reading this long blurb! I have no intention of working on this project anymore, but if you need help with your own personal projects I might be able to help. If you want my help send me an email and lets talk. - Brandyn Engbrecht |
